"Legend tells of a travelling showman and his tragic collection of grotesque sideshow freaks, some so horrifically deformed that the poor fellow was set upon in a nearby town by a hate-filled mob, forcing him to flee unto this very site where he sought sanctuary. Unfortunately for him, the circus wagons were spotted entering the woods by a local poacher, and soon the news of the hideout reached his pursuers. And so it happened, that 3 nights later – on all Hallows Eve, no less – a hundred or so angry, ale-fuelled men marched into the wood, brandishing flaming torches, with murder upon their minds..

Some say that not all perished in the attack. Why else the pitiful cries for help occasionally heard from within the ancient woodland? But none could face the thought of what they might find, and so the place was fenced off, abandoned for a hundred years or so. Until now.."
